How To Fix Repair a Video Tape That Is Chewed Up Or Tangled Inside

If you have a video tape that has the brown film chewed up or tangled inside, you cant use it again. The main possible reason why your video tape got chewed up or tangled is because the head on your VHS player is probably been magnetized from other video tapes your have inserted into it. You are supposed to use a demagnetizer cassette to prevent this to happen, so remember next time!

Instructions:

1)Get hold of the video tape that is chewed or tangled up.

2)Then you will need to open to flap that exposes the film to the head inside the video player. This can be done by inserting it into a video player, however in this sort of situation that cant be done, so on each corner of the flap, you will notice small square buttons, one placed on each side of the video tape. Using your finger nails, push down both square buttons and then pull the flap upwards.

3)Next get a screwdriver and insert it into the small hole, found in the middle of the tape, right at the bottom. Make sure you push the screwdriver so it pushes back the key located inside the tape.

Always keep your mobile phone charged, dont leave a mobile phone in cupboard for 3 years and then charge it up and expect the phone to power on. Leaving you battery stud up for a long period of time can damage it permanently without doubt.

How To Charge a PSP Without a Charger

1) Connecting the USB cable from the PSP console to your computer. The USB cable will have two plugs, a regular USB port plug and a mini USB port plug. Look at the top of your PSP slim console, you will see a Mini USB socket placed at the top in the middle. So get a USB cable and connect the Mini USB plug into the Mini USB socket found on the console.

2) Connecting the console to the computer. On the other end of the USB cable, you will see a regular sized USB Plug. The same size and shape of a USB plug found on a mouse or keyboard. Connect the USB Plug into any available USB Port on your computer. You will usually find some at the front panel or at the rear of the PC tower.

3) Enabling USB mode on the PSP. From the XMB, go to Settings and select USB Connection. The console will enter USB Mode and will connect to your PC. This will show you that it is charging.

How To Fix a Nokia n95 With a Volume Button Not Working

If the volume button on your Nokia n95 is not working, then the first suggestion i would always recommend to you is to flash the firmware on the mobile phone. Sometimes the firmware can get damaged and not send the correct command to make the volume button function. Flashing is a process which removes the current firmware on your Nokia n95 and replaces it with the same or newer firmware that is not damaged. In the past, i have repaired a few Nokia n95s with not working volume button problems and they were fixed by flashing the firmware on the mobile phone.

If you have flashed the firmware on your Nokia n95 with a not working volume button and still it wont function, then this can be a hardware related problem. Simply remove the battery cover and battery pack and remove the back housing of the Nokia n95; this is so you can get access to the volume button that is not working. Once removed, examine the solder joints of the volume button. Do they look broken or weak? If they do look like that, then reheat them with a heat gun or soldering iron.

If reheating the soldering joints doesnt make the volume button function, then replace the volume button.

If you using a CB radio in your home and you have connected a magmount mobile antenna to it, that is meant to be used for a truck or car, using it to operate your radio, you will need to have an excellent ground to ensure that you are getting out properly and to reduce the amount of power the antenna is reflecting back into the radio, also known as an high swr reading, which is usually above 1.5. A high swr reading can lead to burning the output transistors inside your radio, costing your money to repair it, as they overheat from the excessive power that goes back into the radio. So if you are using a mobile magnetic antenna that is not meant for homebase use, you can still use it indoors, but you have to place the magnetic part at the bottom onto a metal, to act as a groundplane, to ensure its working to its full performing potential, to ensure the swr reading is below 1.5.

Instructions on how to get around this issue:

1) You will need to find something that is metal that is available from your home or garage, something that is large enough for the mobile magnetic base to fit on. You will need to find a metal that is made out of steel because steel makes a very good groundplane, but make sure you dont use metal that is made from the material called aluminum because it doesnt work as effectively as steel and other metals do in this situation. For example if you have spare steel circular disc shaped weight laying around that you dont use and they are big enough for the base of the antenna, you can use it as a ground, or the top of an toolbox.

2) Once you have found the right type of metal, simply hold the top bit of the antenna whip and place the base onto the metal part. I say hold the whip because it is the most safest method, as holding the base can accidentally trap your fingers in between the metal and the base, as the magnetic force is usually very strong when it clinks onto the metal, so please be careful.

3) Then if you have a swr to measure the amount of power be reflected back into the radio, hook it up and check the reading on the meter. If you get a swr reading below 1.5, then that is an safe reading and anything below 1.5 is very superior. If you swr reading is very high, try using a different metal, also try adjusting the length of the metal whip, until you get an acceptable reading on the meter.

4) Once you have got an acceptable reading on the swr meter, you can remove it and connect your antenna directly back onto the radio. Then you are ready to transmit and benefit from adding a grounplane to your setup.

5)Your car could be hungry for fuel, check the fuel gauge on your car, if it is showing that the fuel tank is almost empty, top it up with more fuel.

6)Check if the motor mount is broken, if it is, replace it.

7)Your car may need to get wheel balanced, as the wheels can be out of balance, if any one wheel is out of balance, it can add more weight around one part of a wheel, this can cause shaky vibrations at idle and at high speed.

If you have window tinting film on your car window and you want to remove the film without making a mess, the best method i have come across in the window tinting industry is to use a razor blade and soapy water. Before having the idea in mind to remove you car window tint film from the car window, identify if the tint is aftermarket, if it is not and the window tint came with the car from the factory, you cant actually remove it!

Instructions on remove a window tint:

1)Using your razor blade make a small cut in the corner of the window tinting film. You are going to make the cut so you can grab hold of the window tint, this is so you can pull it off with ease.

2)Carefully peel off the window tint from your car window. When removing it, do it slowly as doing it fast can tear the window tint and make a mess, therefore it makes it more harder for you to clean up the remaining mess left on the car window.

3)Simply pour some cheap washing up liquid into a bottle that has a spray accessory. Then spray the soapy liquid solution onto the car window.

4)Using your razor blade, scrape off the adhesive carefully and dont apply loads of pressure onto the car window when scraping off excess adhesive, as scraping to deep can cause the car window to get scratched.

5)The window tinting film from your car window at this point should be completely removed from the car window. To make things look tidy, spray a glass cleaner solution onto the car window and wipe it off using a cloth.

3) You will now see the battery pack inserted into the middle of the fiio e11 amplifier. Now that you have located it, use your finger to pry out the battery pack.

4) Now that you have removed the old battery pack, insert your new replacement battery pack into the compartment. 

5) Replace the plastic cover you removed earlier on, by lining it up with the amp and pushing it down. Run your fingers all the way around the corners of the plastic cover to ensure that its locked in.
